Primark shoppers love an £18 dress that ‘comes in so many colours’ and reminds fans of a more expensive brand
Primark is stocking a “chic” £18 dress that reminds shoppers of another popular fashion brand. Customers fell in love with the Patterned Textured Button Midi Dress when it was showcased in a popular TikTok video. The dress is blue and white, with a chequered pattern.
The summer style is described as “a patterned midi dress with short sleeves and a textured finish.” Primark’s product description continues: “Summer chic? You got it! Add a touch of elegance to your warm weather wardrobe with this super sophisticated midi dress.

The retailer suggests styling it with flat sandals and a raffia bag for the “ultimate summer fit.” Showcasing the blue style on TikTok, blogger @Mariajoynson tried on the dress in her viral video.
Her caption said: “It comes in so many colours and patterns too.” The video received over 19,000 views, and the dress earned lots of compliments. Someone in the comment section praised: “Perfect for summerrrr.”
Another fan thought: “It’s so cute! Definitely giving Dorthy wizard of oz vibes!” A different commenter suggested: “This reminds me of that yellow from sainsburys.” They also added a heart-eyes emoji, clearly enamoured with the style.
Someone else compared the dress to the designs offered by Nobody’s Child, a sustainable fashion brand that’s said to offer “high-end appeal” at an “affordable price point.” Impressed with Primark’s offering, the social media user commented: “Nooo stop it right now, Nobody’s Child who?”
However, another viewer was less impressed by the design of the dress, commenting: “It’s cute, but it also reminds me of the summer dress we wore in primary school!” Shoppers who like the silhouette but dislike the blue chequered print are in luck. Primark also offers a similar dress in green, red, polka dot, and white.
While the red and green dresses share a similar print, the white dress is plain. The polka dot version, which is white with navy blue polka dots, offers an alternative for print lovers.
