The disgraced Duke was spotted as he headed out for a walk on Sunday afternoon – and now a body language expert has decoded his ‘true feelings’ after being hit with a deluge of fresh allegations
Prince Andrew has broken cover after a deluge of fresh allegations were revealed in a bombshell new book.
The Duke and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson are the focus of Andrew Lownie’s explosive new biography, ‘Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks’.
The renowned historian gives startling insight into the former couple’s world behind closed doors, including their alleged rampant infidelity, “controversial friendships” and “secretive money-making endeavours”.
And after a week holed up at Royal Lodge, Andrew has been spotted leaving his mansion. He was photographed behind the wheel of his Defender on Sunday as he drove to Windsor Castle for an afternoon walk.
And body language expert Judi James has examined the photographs and shared her surprising findings with the Mirror. It comes after reports that Princess Beatrice’s original name was ‘rejected by Queen for being too yuppie’.

Giving insight into the disgraced Duke’s true feelings, Judi revealed: “It’s less about what has changed in Andrew’s body language here and more about what’s missing. Caught in this one moment he appears to have lost the rounded-eyed, haunted expression.
“His frown has melted slightly and there are no obvious signs of muscle tension in his facial expression. The royal known for looks of haughty arrogance appears less immersed in signals of status and entitlement and perhaps more reflective here.”
She continued: “His mouth is closed but his lips aren’t clamped, and his shoulders look relatively relaxed. One pic like this might not capture his current mood in its entirety but it might hint at a more philosophical and less defiant approach now.”
Andrew stepped down from royal duties in 2019 after a car crash BBC Newsnight interview about his connection to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Since then, he’s been embroiled in further scandals – including his links to an alleged Chinese spy – and rarely makes public appearances with the royals.
And it seems that this latest book, seen by The Mirror, means Andrew’s headaches are far from over. A major area of focus is Andrew’s love life, with the author alleging that the royal has, over the course of his life, slept with over 1,000 women – from adult film stars and political figures, to nightclub staff and bartenders.
One young woman, a 20-year-old model, is quoted in the book as saying: “He wanted me to engage in kinky sexual activity. He had no boundaries. He told me he had an open marriage arrangement with his wife.”
The book also examines Andrew’s supposed difficult relationships with Princes William and Harry, Sarah’s excessive spending habits, the Duke’s penchant for bizarre pranks, and his alleged habit of ranting at staff.
For one royal expert, many of the claims ring true. Jennie Bond told the Mirror: “Every few months now, there seem to be new allegations about Prince Andrew and lurid stories about his behaviour over the years.
“These summer months are meant to be a period of calm and respite for the Royal family. But here’s the Duke once again, splashed all over the papers, with graphic tales.
“I’m sure the book will have infuriated Andrew. I have to say, though, that from my own experience of meeting the Duke and my conversations with many people who have known him or worked with him over the years, there is a distinct ring of truth about his portrayal in this book. Arrogant, pompous and obsessed with status was my abiding impression of him.”
August traditionally sees the royals decamp to Scotland to spend time at their beloved Balmoral estate.
King Charles has continued the tradition of inviting members of his family to spend time with him in Scotland. In previous years, Andrew, as well as ex-wife Fergie, have been among the guests. But Jennie believes these latest allegations could prove to be a spanner in any potential Balmoral plans.

She added: “For the King, it must be exasperating to have to read once again about his brother’s shenanigans. It will be interesting to see whether the Duke and Duchess are invited to Balmoral this year as part of the family’s summer get-togethers. It certainly could be awkward.
“But I don’t think we should expect any retaliation from the King. He remains Charles’s brother, and I suspect the King will just roll his eyes, probably swear about Andrew under his breath — but then get on with more important things in life.
“The book will, of course, annoy the Palace communications team who are constantly having to shore up the damage to the monarchy caused by Andrew’s behaviour.”
‘Entitled’ by Andrew Lownie (William Collins, £22), to be published August 14.
