Prince Harry looks likely to return to the UK in a matter of weeks to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games and it’s possible he could reunite with Prince William

Prince Harry and Prince William could finally reunite when the Duke of Sussex returns to the UK, but one expert has warned they need to overcome “past conflicts” first.

The brothers had a close relationship growing up, but that all changed when Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from the Royal Family. The couple then went on to speak out about their time with The Firm and Harry even issued a number of attacks against his brother.

He accused William of leaving him terrified when he “screamed and shouted” during one tense meeting and alleged the Prince of Wales called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”. Relationship expert Louella Alderson suggested Harry and William need to address their “past conflicts”.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: “Given the nature of the rift between the brothers, much deeper issues need to be addressed and resolved for a true reconciliation.” She said it’s important for the pair to have “open and honest conversations about their feelings, expectations, and past conflicts in order to move forward.”

Louella added: “This could take time and a lot of effort, but it’s a necessary step if all parties want to heal broken family relations.” Her comments come following mounting speculation Harry will be returning to the UK in a matter of weeks.

St. Paul’s Cathedral will be hosting a special event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games on May 8 and royal author Tom Quinn said Harry is likely to return to the UK for the event. He told The Mirror: “Barring a major upset, Harry will certainly return to the UK for the Invictus games in May – it’s his baby.

“If he decides not to come, it will take some explaining, because everyone will assume it’s because he doesn’t want the awkwardness of having to meet his brother or having to choose not to meet him.”

Harry even expressed his desire to return to the UK soon following his brief trip earlier this year. During an appearance on Good Morning America, he said: “So my family and my life in California is as it is. I have got other trips planned. That would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”
