Prince Harry has recalled the intense reaction he had when he saw his wife Meghan Markle in a sex scene on her TV show Suits. In his memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex spoke candidly about the “miserable” moment, and how he wished he could forget it.
Before the Duchess of Sussex met Harry in 2016, she played the role of paralegal Rachel Zane in the American legal drama and was the love interest of the character Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams. And according to Harry, one key moment from season two left him feeling like he needed “electric shock” therapy to erase it from his memory.

He wrote in his 2023 autobiography: “I’d witnessed her [Meghan] and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room.” Conveying his thoughts about her actions, he added: “I didn’t need to see such things live.”
Meghan’s on-screen antics reportedly saw a change once she got involved with Prince Harry. According to Tom Bower in his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, the Palace intervened, suggesting that “the Palace stepped in to control Meghan’s life”.
He revealed: “Scripts were thereafter forwarded to Kensington Palace for approval. Orders for changes of words were sent back from London to Los Angeles. The most important demand concerned Meghan’s last scene at her ‘wedding’ to Mike.
“No photographs, the Palace ordered, were to be shot of Meghan wearing a wedding dress. Between filming, she was always to wear a jacket over the dress. The atmosphere in the studio changed.”
Harry will be preparing to see Meghan on screen again as she is set to star in a new film . Meghan took a break from acting when she entered the world of royalty and tied the knot with Prince Harry, but it seems her passion for acting never left as she is entering Hollywood once again.
The 44-year-old is starring in new film Close Personal Friends, which is shooting in Pasadena, California. The movie stars fellow actors Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding.
The project is a mid-budget romcom about two couples, one famous and one not, who become friends on holiday. This is Meghan’s first role since 2017 but it’s been said she didn’t plan to make a return to acting, as a source told The Daily Mail : “This was never in her plan.”
It comes after Meghan spoke out in 2022 about how she would not be returning to acting any time soon. In an interview with Variety magazine in 2022, she said: “I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not.”
