Prince William and Kate Middleton are keen to end their feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but it seems the Sussexes aren’t looking for a reconciliation, claims a royal expert
The Prince and Princess of Wales are hoping to end their feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but the Sussexes aren’t quite so keen, according to a royal expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not close with the Royal Family and have been estranged from Prince William and Princess Kate for years. However, royal author Tom Quinn believes William and Kate are keen to change this.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, he said: “Kate and William are far more enthusiastic about trying for a reconciliation than Meghan and Harry.” He also suggested it’s much easier for Meghan and Harry to continue with their strained royal relationships.

Tom said: “Keeping up the feud is easier for Meghan and Harry in many ways because in the States they may be celebrities but they are not under the spotlight in the way Kate and William are.”
Meghan and Harry have developed a strained relationship with William and Kate over the years. The Sussexes slammed the couple in their Netflix docuseries, as well as their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Harry also made a number of accusations about his brother and sister-in-law in his debut memoir Spare. In the book, the Duke of Sussex opened up about an explosive row he had with William, during which the Prince of Wales allegedly called Harry’s wife Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.
Harry also detailed a row between Meghan and Kate which took place just days before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot. It was reported that Meghan had left Kate in tears after making comments about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress.
However, she later claimed it was actually the other way around. Kate is said to have told Meghan there was a “problem” with her daughter Princess Charlotte’s dress. She’s then alleged to have said all of the bridesmaid dresses needed to be “completely remade.”
Writing in his memoir Spare, Harry said he had found Meghan crying “on the floor” after the argument. Meghan admitted she had been “hurt” by Kate’s actions, but said the Princess of Wales had eventually apologised.
