Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie said “we’re in this together” when they were seen hugging in the street after Andrew had his titles removed, claims a lip reader.
The daughters of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were seen meeting on November 7 near Green Park and Buckingham Palace in central London and showed unusual emotion for royals in public. It marks the first time the sisters have been seen in public together since Andrew’s links to Jeffrey Epstein led to the King dramatically stripping him of his titles. Andrew has always denied any accusations of wrongdoing.
In comes as more than 20,000 pages of emails and other pieces of evidence surrounding Epstein’s connections and criminal life have been released in the US by the House Oversight Committee.
The scandal has rocked the royal family and in a rare public sighting, Beatrice and Eugenie were seen together on a London street. Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling claims Beatrice, 37, told her younger sibling “we’re in this together, don’t forget that”.
She also told the Mail that Beatrice told Eugenie that “it’s going to get harder” and “we can’t do anything”. While Eugenie is thought to have replied: “Everything is changing” and Beatrice agreed it’s a “really anxious time”.
With the pair rarely seen out together it has led some royal fans to question whether the meeting was staged.
One person wrote on Reddit : “’PR trick to get public sympathy…This is staged,” while another agreed: “They 100 per cent showed up here after calling the paps to take pictures of them hugging.”
Epstein took his own life in a New York prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 after being convicted of sex trafficking.
