Millionaire socialite and ‘Real Housewives of London’ star Panthea Parker has revealed she’s ‘never had a job’. The budding 50-year-old reality star is married to top London lawyer Ed Parker – a partner at global law firm Mayer Brown.
Panthea, originally from Iran, moved to Hampstead, North London, at the age of four. Despite living in the city for 46 years, the newest Housewives star says she’s never worked a day in her life and her casting on the show is the “first job” she’s ever had – because she was “lucky” enough to marry a wealthy man.
Panthea told Reality Shrine: “It’s the biggest job. I pride myself on being a good mother and a good wife. I’m running my home and making amazing memories and not being stressed, but this has definitely been an eye-opener.
“But I mean, I’m very privileged and something clicked halfway through the show that ‘oh my god, this is big’.” Panthea shares three of her four children with Ed, and her eldest son is from a previous marriage.
She revealed in the first episode of Real Housewives that she once went on a shopping spree in Harrods after learning a partner “had cheated”. The socialite has been on the “Mayfair scene” since the nineties, where she was always seen partying with A-listers and has attended the same top celebrity weddings where J-Lo has been a guest.
Season one of The Real Housewives of London kicked off on August 18, and is available to stream on Hayu.
