The stunning London venue is opening its doors to revellers who can party with the dinosaurs

Roar into 2026 at the Natural History Museum with its sell-out New Year’s Eve party.

New Year’s Eve is typically a time to look forward to the coming year. At the Natural History Museum, guests can do just that while surrounded by millions of years of the planet’s history.

Once the doors have closed to the public for the last time in 2025, guests can disco with the dinosaurs, explore the Museum’s fascinating galleries after dark and reach for the moon – literally, you can touch a piece of the moon in the out-of-this-world exhibition Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth? Don’t forget to take a peek at the world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition away from the usual daytime crowds too.

Throw some Jurassic shapes to the live music under the watchful eye of Hope, the 25-metre blue whale skeleton hanging in the famed Hintze hall, while sipping on your favourite drinks from the bar.

While you are there, why not share new year’s resolutions with Mantellisaurus, one of the most complete dinosaurs ever found in the UK? They’ve had 122-129 million years to come up with their own.

Come face to face with fabulous creatures, courtesy of ethical animal handlers ZooLab. Join Sophie the Stegosaurus skeleton for a silent disco underneath the awe-inspiring globe in Earth Hall.

Partygoers will be kitted out with wireless headsets as they join three battling DJ’s who simultaneously play club classics and hot new tracks, curating an atmospheric soundtrack to bring in the new year to.

VIP ticket holders will be greeted with a free drink, and have access to a private bar and additional entertainment.

The adult-only (18 and over) event takes place from 20:00 finishing at 01.30. Tickets to the exclusive annual event start from £112.50 for Natural History Museum members, and £125 for non-members.

New Year’s Eve: Party at the Museum is set to be a spectacular evening. Tickets on sale now. Visit the Museum’s New Years’ Eve event webpage to find out more and book.
