Black Friday is almost here, and retailers have already started gearing up with some deals before Christmas. Those in the market for a new phone might want to check out this new Sky offer.

Sky has cut the price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra to £22 a month and £36 a month respectively but the good news is that Sky is looking to sweeten the deals. It includes a free Galaxy Watch8 with both of the phones, depending on which device takes shoppers’ fancy.

That means shoppers can enjoy a £319 freebie without paying a penny extra.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 features a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is one of the best Android devices on the market with 12GB of RAM, a 5000mAh battery, and a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, with a stylus so phone users can take notes while out and about.

On top of that, the free Galaxy Watch8 features a slimmer and lighter design, an improved 3nm processor for faster performance, and a brighter, 3,000-nit display that is easier to see in sunlight. Key new features include enhanced AI-powered health and fitness tracking, such as a new antioxidant measurement and an AI coaching tool.

Grab the Samsung Galaxy S25 – and get a free watch

Shoppers can get a Samsung Galaxy S25 with a free watch for a limited time from Sky.

When it comes to reviews for the Samsung Galaxy S25, deputy tech editor Henry Burrell reviewed the device and said: “I won’t bury the lede with this review of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. These phones are incredibly similar to every Galaxy S phone Samsung has released since the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus in 2022.

“The design has barely changed, and the cameras are literally the same, meaning if you are looking to upgrade your Android phone, there isn’t a lot here that’s new – on paper, at least. That’s not to say these aren’t excellent phone(s), because they are.”

When it comes to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, tech editor David Snelling reviewed the device and said: “Samsung has done it again and produced another spectacularly good smartphone. The Galaxy S25 Ultra looks great, features a stunning 6.9-inch screen, a brilliant camera, long battery life, and that supremely quick Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

“It also gets all of those Galaxy AI upgrades that can organise your life, retouch your photos, chat to you like a human and bring live football scores straight to the home screen.”

Nevertheless, he did highlight concerns about the price and how the AI features might prove somewhat overwhelming.

He added: “There’s so much Artificial Intelligence now included, it can all feel slightly overwhelming and only power users (and true AI geeks) are going to get close to scratching the surface of what this device can really do.

“That doesn’t make this a bad phone. In fact, it’s a very good phone. It just feels like all of Samsung’s development is going into the software rather than boosting the hardware. Perhaps the AI boom for smartphones is because there’s nothing else manufacturers can add or improve. You might ask yourself why you need a new phone at all – they say AI is the answer.”
