While holidaying in The Maldives, it’s not just the sun, sea and sand that Frankie Bridge has us envying – it’s her holiday-ready wardrobe, too. The Loose Women panellist has showed off her washboard abs and long legs in a selection of bikinis, cool co-ords and more as she shared her weekly ‘faves’ round up from the island this Bank Holiday weekend.

Amongst her vacation favourites, the 35-year-old raved about a pair of high street linen trousers you can wear from the beach to the bar – and style them long after your holiday is through, too.

The former Saturday’s singer wore a pair of H&M’s £24.99 linen-blend trousers , which come in black and cream colourways. Made with 30% linen and 25% cotton, the lightweight and breathable material is ideal for keeping you cool in the warm weather while still covering up.

Frankie said: “One thing i’ll live in on holiday is linen trousers . Wear them with bikini tops or one pieces as your cover up, dress them up for dinner or wear out for a day trip. Such easy wearing and something you can wear time and time again. Love this little strapless top too, you could also put with shorts and a slip top to get more wear out of it.”

The smart tailored trousers feature a flattering high waist with a zip fly and concealed button, which make them a chic and elevated alternative to similar styles with elastic waistbands.

Shoppers have praised the trousers saying they’re ‘lovely flattering trousers,’ adding: “gorgeous with the matching waistcoat. I’m in between a size 10-12, went for the 12, re ordering in the 10 as I feel these are a little generous in size.”

Another added: “Lovely and look great with the matching waistcoat. Fit is probably about right but length not that long . I’m 5’8 and could of done with these being a little bit longer.”

Frankie paired her trousers with the Reese Bandeau Knit Top from Pretty Lavish, a neckline we’ve seen the mum-of-two style regularly. The strapless knit top, priced at £24.50, made the outfit look way more expensive, particularly when paired with luxe-looking accessories like this black handled raffia bag from River Island , which comes in at £40.

Footwear-wise, Frankie opted for practical yet chic black faux leather flat slider sandals from Ego, priced at £26 , which she tipped as ‘the best designer dupe’ for their resemblance to a similar pair at Hermes which retail for £730.

Frankie’s holiday look definitely delivered relaxed sophistication on a high street budget, and if you’re looking for a pair of black linen blend trousers just like hers, you won’t have to look very far, with ASOS , Marks and Spencer and New Look all stocking similar for under £25.

Not only are they ideal for when you’re away, but for travelling on the plane, too, while at home they’re sure to be a popular alternative to jeans as the weather warms up. You can shop Frankie’s exact pair here.
