Fragrance fans can save a third on an iconic unisex designer perfume described by devotees as ‘incredible’ with a rose scent so deep you can ‘smell the texture of the petals’
Fragrance fans can save £40.50 on a ‘beautiful’ designer perfume aimed at both men and women. La Fille de Berlin by Serge Lutens is an amber floral scent that usually retails at £135 but has been reduced for a limited time only. It was first launched in 2013 with Christopher Sheldrake on the nose. Sheldrake has worked on almost 60 fragrances for Serge Lutens but has also worked on Chanel and Shiseido.
La Fille de Berlin opens up very floral with jammy rose and geranium. It deepens to a heart of palmarosa before softening with an interesting base of moss, patchouli and honey.

There is only one review on LookFantastic and it’s a glowing five stars. However, over on Fragrantica, where perfume aficionados share their thoughts on fragrances, more have shared their thoughts. One said: “That’s pretty nice. Opens up extremely rose heavy then dries down to a “classic” rose, oakmoss and patchouli combo. The first hour is very feminine, the dry down is completely unisex. Performance is very good.”
A second wrote: “This is a jammy winey rose that gives the vibes of an aristocratic vampire. Not the type of fragrance you wear to feel cute. It brings to mind a gothic novel setting or a garden of roses in a misty and cold morning.”
A third added: “La fille de Berlin is incredible. You can smell the texture of the red rose’s petals. It is incredibly photorealistic to my nose, so smooth and velvety! And there’s nothing off putting or quirky in it like a huge dose of pepper or musk. Wow I am blown away!”
