Two men have since been charged with his murder
The sister of an 18-year-old man shot dead outside a bar in Wembley has paid tribute to her “beloved” brother. Tyrece Balcha was gunned down in Atlantic Crescent at about 5.30am on Sunday, September 21.
The teenager from Hillingdon was in a self-induced coma for four days until he later passed away in hospital last Thursday (September 25). Two men have since been charged with his murder, while two other men have been charged with attempted murder.
Paying tribute to her brother, Chloe Forbes said: “Ty has the most infectious, cheekiest smile that warmed everybody’s hearts. His laugh and his personality is what made him Tyrece, and made so many love him.
“Ty was a hard worker, working as an apprentice for a building company and attended college as part of his apprenticeship. He loved music ranging from old school to the newer day music, always singing and dancing silly because that always brought him joy, entertaining his family & friends.
“He loved to play his PlayStation and was learning to drive. Children loved him for his playful character and patience, he also became a big brother in July 2024 and Tyrece loved him dearly, he is such a proud big brother.”
Ms Forbes and Tyrece’s mum Bonnie Clark have launched a fundraiser to cover his funeral costs. It has raised almost £22k since it was posted, with 412 donations.
