A warehouse has burst into flames in Southall, West London. Around 150 firefighters across 25 fire engines are tackling the industrial blaze at Middlesex Business Park, on Bridge Road.
Three-quarters of the two storey structure consists of a warehouse and retail space, which begun at about 8.55am today (Tuesday, November 25).
There is heavy traffic in the area, with roads closed and buses diverted. Photos shared on X show flames flickering from the site, as thick plumes of black smoke fill West London’s skyline and can be seen for miles.
One local told us they were ‘starting to panic, if it comes closer we’ll leave the building’. Residents are being urged to keep doors and windows shut due to the volume of smoke.
The London Ambulance Service says there have been no injuries so far.
