If you are struggling to get sales on Vinted, one savvy seller has the perfect hack. Vinted can be a great way to clear out some old clothes and make some extra money – and one woman has shared her trick to getting sales every time.

It can be time consuming taking photos of every outfit, and Vinted pro’s always recommend wearing the item to help boost interest rather than taking photos of it on the hanger. But if you don’t have the time to try on your items for sale for a photo, this TikToker has your problems covered, all thanks to AI.

The fashionista said she was using a special app to boost her sales, that generates photos for her – and she claims the ”super simple trick” has made her Vinted sales ”go way up”. She said previously she would upload photos of her clothes on hangers, something most Vinted sellers do. ”Poor lighting, bad angles, nothing worked,” she said.

But while it was quicker to upload, it didn’t bring her much success as the pieces ”took forever to sell or never did”. Now, the seller uses VintyLook to create AI-generated photos of the clothing being worn by a ‘person’. In her TikTok video, she said there is “no modelling” and “no stress” anymore when trying to flog her old clothes.

One garment she managed to sell easier was a tie dye long-sleeve top, which she first listed with a basic photo on the bed. However the app managed to make the listing a lot more appealing, and sold the top in two days.

Raving about the hack, the TikToker who posts under the name @vintylook wrote in the caption of the video: ”It’s called VintyLook, you paste your listing link and it generates a clean ‘worn’ photo for you. I’ve been doing this for a week and already sold more than the past month.”

According to the VintyLook website, the AI app solves Vinted woes by “generating professional-quality visuals, increasing your visibility and attracting more buyers.”

Savvy Vinted shopper Maisie, from Yorkshire, managed to make reselling her full time career last year after making £18,000 online and said the secret is in the photos. “I absolutely love buying on Vinted to resell on Vinted. It’s so easy and it just goes to show the difference that a good quality picture with good lighting and a good background can honestly make,” she shared on a TikTok video.

Her first tip is to always list similar clothes sizes at the same time on Vinted, as people may go onto your profile and then find other items they like as well – which can help generate bigger sales. She explained: “They’re more likely to get their money’s worth by buying a bundle from you so it will boost your sales and your profit at the same time.
