We’re lucky enough in London to have lots of cycle lanes in order to keep people safe. However, the issue of road sharing with cars often still sparks heated discussions about who has the right of way.

The Highway Code, updated in January 2022, provides clear guidelines to enhance road safety for cyclists, pedestrians, and horse riders. The revisions have altered the hierarchy of road users and how shared spaces are utilised, reports WalesOnline.
