Taylor Swift had to halt her latest Eras Tour show after the wind caused disruption yesterday (Thursday, June 13).

Her Evermore set was momentarily put on hold as she needed to adjust her in-ear monitors in Liverpool. Addressing the crowd, Taylor said: “My in-ears, I have someone… someone has their mic on and it is like a wind tunnel. That’s just… I’m being told that’s just the way the wind sounds. This is just how windy it is.”

The pop superstar had to pause the show once again after resurrecting her performance – which included a sweet thank-you to her Swifties. “Are you just waving or are you good? Does anyone need help? “Taylor asked, looking out at her audience.

She added: “Okay, we’ve got help. So, when you see that there’s like one of our guys has a green there, that means they’ve got to them.” Taylor kept providing updates while her team attended to the situation, allowing her to carry on, guitar in hand.

Not too long after, the performance took another brief break when wild cheers broke out across the crowd as Taylor sang Champagne Problems. Taylor watched the crowd with sweet smile as the cheers continued for quite some time, reports The Mirror.

Taylor’s first night at Anfield Stadium saw her break the attendance record, showing a strong start to the weekend line-up of shows.

Taylor said: “So, I just want to say, those things mean the world to us getting to play this show for people who would go so far above and beyond for us and welcome us to Liverpool in such a fashion. We love you so much and, you know, while I was walking to the stage, they pulled me aside and told me another thing you did for us tonight.”

“And that thing is that you, you broke the all time attendance record for this stadium tonight. Don’t you just love knowing there’s never been as many people in this room as there are right now? I, personally, love that feeling.”

Get tickets for The Eras Tour

For the rest of the UK leg, waitlist tickets are on sale. Fans must check their email ASAP for a code they can use to purchase tickets.

Fans who signed up for ticket sale registration can buy tickets here. Prices vary but for Cardiff, for example, a partially obstructed view is going for £57.65.

Ticket sale registration is being used to filter out buyers looking to resell tickets, said Ticketmaster.

You can also consider resale ticket websites. Viagogo and VividSeats are selling Eras Tour tickets. Those websites give you the opportunity to shop at your leisure, as tickets put up for sale by fans remain there until bought.

Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

With that said, Viagogo commented: “Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee.”
