Taylor Swift Vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood teased in trailer
Taylor Swift stars in the first-look trailer for a new documentary exploring her long-running feud with Scooter Braun. Last month, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) announced Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, a two-part series that will explore the controversial $300 million sale of the pop superstar’s masters to the music industry mogul, which sparked a public feud that divided fans and celebrities alike.
It has now confirmed Bad Blood will be available to stream from June 21 exclusively on Discovery+, which is available for £3.99 a month with Amazon Prime Video’s Discovery+ channel alongside a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial. It follows several other hugely popular ‘vs’ docs including Johnny vs Amber, Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce, and Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial.
It comes as Swift has kicked off her UK leg of The Eras Tour with performances at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. Fans have been scrambling for a way to see the Anti-Hero songstress in person at upcoming dates in Liverpool, Cardiff and London, with some tickets still available here.

Bad Blood will delve into the $300 million dispute which kicked off after Braun bought the rights to Swift’s first six albums in June 2019. Over two hour-long episodes, viewers will be taken on a comprehensive examination of the feud, exploring the complexities of music ownership, gender dynamics in the industry and the power of fan influence, while delving into the two polarised sides of the dispute allowing them to form their own opinion.
True to the ‘vs’ format, each episode will examine the opposing sides of the argument. One will explore Swift’s side that the sale was conducted without consulting her and that she has since been blocked from buying back her masters, while the other examines Braun’s allegations that Swift refused to negotiate and instead incited a public feud by pitting her fan base against him.
Both sides are presented in the show’s trailer, with one avid Swifty describing the affair as a ‘betrayal of an artist and of a woman in a male dominated world’, while another insists ‘this was a business deal and it wasn’t some bullying attack’. The access-driven docuseries will see legal experts, journalists and those close to both Swift and Braun presenting each side of the argument.
“Taylor Swift’s dispute with Scooter Braun over the ownership of her music exploded into the mainstream, taking contract law from boardroom to social media and into public interest,” said Charlotte Reid, Vice President of Commissioning, Networks and Streaming at WBD UK and Ireland. “It’s a high-profile, high-interest story that opened debate on fandom and dominated headlines, one which will resonate with our viewers.”
Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood will premiere June 21 on Discovery+.
Alternatively, Disney+ offers a range of new films and shows, including Taylor Swift concert film The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) and the fifth season of The Kardashians. TV fans can get the equivalent of two months free with an annual subscription to Disney’s Standard or Premium plans, while those that prefer to pay monthly can do so from £4.99.
