Upgrading tech devices is a pricey pastime and those in need of a swanky new gadget will know it can take a while to find the cheapest price. As May comes to an end, big brands Sky, Apple, and Samsung can now be found for a fraction of the price.
As a tech writer who covers everything from new phone launches to nifty travel gadgets, and TV price hikes I’m always scouring sites for the best deals, and a now is proving a good time to buy.
Apple’s iPhone 15 is a lot cheaper, there’s a huge £700 discount on one of Samsung’s high-end smart TVs, you can get a free pair of wireless earphones for on-the-go working (or anything you like), and Sky’s proving yet again to be a top contender with its rarely seen Sky Glass discount.

Get an Apple iPhone 15 £100 cheaper
Apple’s newest iPhone 15 can be bought for £100 cheaper at AO backed site, MobilePhones DIrect, as it drops to a better-than-Apple price of £699. Yes, it’s cheaper than opting for the own iOS store.
This deal is on the smallest 128GB model with its standard 8GB of RAM storage – a sturdy device for anyone looking for a new phone without needed the top of the range titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max features.
£750 off Samsung 4K Smart TV
The biggest saving, that I’ve rounded up, is reserved for TV viewers as AO cut a huge £750 off the price of this Samsung smart TV. This 2023 Crystal UHD model is now £1,249 as opposed to its previous £1,999 cost.
With an action pact sports schedule in line for this summer, with the Euros and Olympics on the cards, it’d be a great time for eager fans to upgrade. Of course, big showbiz releases too like Netflix’ new Bridgerton Season 3 and The Kardashians on Disney+.
Free wireless Galaxy Buds FE
Sky Mobile is handing out a free pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, worth £74, to those who take out the newest Tab S9 FE contract. Users will get the wireless pair, along with the tablet, for £14 per month.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE was only launched in October 2023 as the brands stripped-back budget version in the Tab S9 range. The £499 (the cost to buy it outright) device looks exactly the same but has slightly slower speeds and storage, to offer a new quality product to shoppers in a stricter budget.
Save £140 on Sky Glass TV package
The provider has cut a huge £140 off the price of its 4K QLED model. The Sky Glass TV comes integrated with the box-set Stream software, that can transform any device into a smart one. With no satellite or cables required the Sky Glass comes packed with Sky channels, Netflix, and 4K QLED Ultra HD tech – all of which is boosted by its built-in Dolby Atmos soundbar.
Shoppers will pay a much cheaper £21 a month, compared to its usual £24 a month rate, for the biggest 65-inch model. While other discounts are on offer for those wanting a smaller screen, with a new £16 a month price on the 55-inch model and an £11 per month price for the compact 43-inch screen.
The above deals aren’t the only offers around, more tech devices can be found for cheaper at Amazon as the Prime retailer hosts a device sale. This means its own range of gadgets like the 5th Gen Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick 4K, and Fire TV Cube are cut by nearly half the price.
Over on the high-street, John Lewis has just launched an electronics sale with discounts on Apple, Dyson, and Sony added to its stock.
