Ikea plans on opening 100 more click and collect points at Tesco stores across the country.
The confirmation comes as the Swedish furniture giant opened its 100th mobile pick-up point this week. The scheme was first piloted in 2022 and rolled out nationwide last year. The next-day service allows Brits to pick up their Ikea online orders – either on the Ikea website or through the app – at their local Tesco store within one of two daily collection windows.
It is free of charge for orders over £100 and costs £5 for those below that amount. Ikea says the expansion will mean more than 90% of consumers will be within five miles of a collection point. It has not been confirmed where these new pick up points will be, however, Tesco currently has over 2,000 stores across the UK.

In late 2023, Ikea boosted its home delivery service offering, introducing free small parcel deliveries for orders over £60 for the first time. Large truck delivery for up to 150kg currently stands at £25, down from £40, £30 for express down from £50, and extra-large express delivery is £45, reduced from £50. Parcel orders delivered through DPD and Shift lockers are available free for orders over £100 and £2 and £5, respectively, for all other orders.
