The Chase’s Darragh Ennis, known as The Menace on the ITV quiz show, challenged his online followers to a ‘tough’ Harry Potter quiz – and he says ‘most people’ won’t get all five questions
Fans of ITV’s popular quiz show The Chase can see Darragh Ennis, known as The Menace, really knows his stuff.
Darragh joined The Chase in 2020, having previously appeared as a contestant – and became the sixth Chaser. He still appears on the ITV quiz show, but the entomologist and postdoctoral researcher at Oxford University also regularly posts informative videos on TikTok.
Recently the savvy quizzer challenged his followers to try to beat his Harry Potter quiz, which he said was so tricky no one could answer all five questions correctly. “Can you beat a quiz by The Menace? This time it’s a Harry Potter quiz. It starts easy and it will get tougher. I bet most won’t get all five,” he explained on his @bonesgiles account.

The quiz seems to have challenged even the most avid Harry Potter reader, with one joking: “0/5, too easy mate.” Another added: “I got one Darragh… I got one.” A third admitted: “3/5 that was tough. disappointed I didn’t get Madame Rosmerta. Fourth one was very tough.”
However, others found it a bit easier. One person commented: “4/5, the transfiguration author was a nightmare question, the rest I got no bother.”
Another wrote: “5/5 looking forward to the mega tough one.”
