Before joining the Royal Family in 2011, Kate Middleton received guidance from the Queen to prepare her for Royal life.
A Royal insider revealed that the Queen granted the Princess of Wales access to her personal office prior to her marriage to Prince William.
This thoughtful gesture was intended to help prepare Kate for the demands of serving the British monarchy.
Vanity Fair ‘s Royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, shared: ” The Queen had made her own private office and her ladies in waiting available to Catherine, so she could go and talk to them first-hand about what it was like to do royal engagements and how one should behave.”
Nicholl also mentioned that Kate certainly “took up” the offer and “made sure she benefitted from that experience.”
While the content of these discussions remains unknown, it is highly probable that Kate was educated on everything from patriotism to the significance of etiquette.
Kate, a native of Reading in Berkshire, fell in love with Prince William while studying at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland.
Even before her marriage to William, Kate and her family received considerable support from the Royal family.
William and Kate have now celebrated over ten years of wedded bliss, and are the proud parents of three lovely children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
