Josie Gibson opens up about receiving hateful comments about her body
This Morning viewers were delighted to see Josie Gibson back on their screens on Tuesday 28 May, and the presenter made sure she was back with a bang thanks to her stunning powder blue ensemble. Fans took to her Instagram comments to share their joy at seeing her back on their screens, with several praising her choice of outfit.
“She looks amazing” wrote one, whilst another added: “Love your dress Josie you look amazing.” Although many viewers mistook her outfit for a dress, Josie was actually wearing the Blue Textured Ruched Long Sleeve Top, £28 here, and the matching Blue Textured Midi Skirt, £30 here, from River Island.
The co-ord is made from a subtle textured fabric that has plenty of stretch, making it not only super comfortable to wear but incredibly flattering too. The stretchy material meant the co-ord skimmed over Josie’s figure, hugging her curves and accentuating her shape.
Although Josie opted to tuck the top into the skirt to help create more waist definition, the set was also styled with the top untucked on the River Island website which gave it a more relaxed, effortless feel. The skirt has a fully elasticated waistband that gives you plenty of stretch and movement – perfect for long days spent sitting or when you’re feeling bloated.
The top features a ruched detail down the middle that helps define and create curves whilst also smoothing and hiding any lumps and bumps, making it extra flattering. It also has a subtle lettuce edge trim to the hemlines for some added detail, and a high neck that helps elongate your body.
The full set is still available on the River Island website in sizes 6-18, with the size 6 currently sold out in the top, whilst the skirt’s size 18 is out of stock right now.
