A pony on the loose reportedly blocked a major motorway into London ahead of rush hour this morning, Monday June 17. According to traffic monitoring service Inrix, the escaped horse made its way onto the M4, between Hayes and Heathrow.
The police and other emergency services rushed to the motorway to try and capture the pony. Eight police cars reportedly blocked lanes one and two of M4.
The road was blocked off between Junction 3 A312 The Parkway (Hayes / Heston) and Junction 4 (Heathrow / Uxbridge).
The emergency services were contacted for further information about this incident.
