Two in A&E after Romford station ‘assault’

Two people were raced to A&E after an attack by a train station. The police headed to Romford Railway Station at about 6.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, May 27) to reports of the attack.

There they found the victim and took them to hospital. There have been no arrests. Officers are investigating what happened.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of an altercation between a group of youths at Romford Railway Station at around 6.15pm yesterday (May 27). Officers attended, the incident is currently being investigated.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.30pm yesterday ( May 27) to reports of an assault at Romford Rail Station, in the High Street.

“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene. We treated two patients at the scene and took them to hospital.”
