Sky Roberts does not want the King to stop at the banishment of his brother Andrew, and called on him to use his power to persuade Donald Trump to release the Jeffrey Epstein files
Virginia Giuffre’s brother has called on the King to apply serious pressure on Donald Trump to release the Jeffrey Epstein files as the family demand an investigation into banished former prince, Andrew.
They have urged the monarch to to tell the US President “put your big boy pants on” as the wait goes on to find out exactly who had access to the convicted sex offender’s private island. Sky Roberts, tragic Virginia’s younger brother, says the King is “setting a roadmap” after he stripped Andrew’s titles and turfed him out of Royal Lodge – but he should not stop there.
He says police must investigate the former prince, and demanded the notorious files be opened to see who else is named. Andrew was accused by Virginia of having sex with her in March 2001, when she was just 17. She alleges she had been trafficked by Epstein and his girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Virginia claimed that Epstein and Maxwell had taken her to Tramp nightclub in London, where she met with Andrew and later had sex with him that night. She claimed that Epstein had paid her $15,000 after sleeping with the royal. Andrew vehemently denied the allegations.
Now Mr Roberts, speaking to Sky News, said the King is “setting a precedent to the rest of the world to say I do stand with survivors.” He added: “It’s still not enough in the sense that he’s still walking around a free man. Let’s not be naive that he’s not going to be living on the side of the road here.”
Mr Roberts says Andrew “should be investigated” and calls on the King to up the heat on the American government. “He should put pressure on President Trump,” he says. “He should tell President Trump ‘put your big boy pants on’ and let’s get these Epstein files released so that we can go after these monsters properly.”
Sky previously told Good Morning Britain: “He should be willing to come forward and have his day in court. As of now, he has not complied with investigation; he has almost in some ways, refused to come forward and give a proper investigation. We’re asking for his day in court, we’re asking for a thorough investigation.”
Andrew has continually said he is willing to help American investigators. “I’m more than willing to give my sister’s testimony right in front of him [King Charles],” Sky said, before going on to say: “I’d have that conversation with him, I’ll come to London tomorrow, and we can have that conversation together.” Sky said: “I hope we’re doing her a little bit of justice in this. I’m so proud of her, I’m so proud of the UK people, I’m proud of the King. It just proves that if you just come forward and tell the truth and let your voice be heard, change can happen.”
Last night, Virginia’s family said that the news had seen her “declare a victory”. In a statement shared with BBC News, they said that she “brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage.” The statement read: “Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage.
“Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and countless other survivors like her. Today, she declares a victory. We, her family, along with her survivor sisters, continue Virginia’s battle and will not rest until the same accountability applies to all of her abusers and abetters, connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.”
In a rare move on Thursday, Buckingham Palace issued an extremely rare statement, confirming the King had initiated proceedings to strip the disgraced royal of all his titles. They said: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.
“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
