A South London park has been cordoned off following a stabbing overnight. Waterloo Millennium Green is currently shut following local reports of a serious incident.
A nearby business told MyLondon there was a heavy police presence earlier today (Thursday, October 9), while officers remain in the area. A picture of the scene shows the entrance on Baylis Road is closed off by emergency tape.
A police car can also be seen parked on the pavement. MyLondon has contacted the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service for more information.
Waterloo Millennium Green is situated opposite The Old Vic theatre and a few hundred metres from London Waterloo station.
