As this year’s series of Big Brother fast approaches, some fans may be wondering what became of past contestants.

Previous winner Jordan Sangha was loved by fans of the series for his deadpan humour and bold fashion choices, but not everyone may have caught up with what became of the star after his triumphant win.

The reality television personality, 27, won the inaugural series of the revived programme when ITV2 brought it back in 2023. He departed the house with £100,000 prize money and a fresh romance with fellow contestant Henry, with the couple sharing their relationship journey on social media. Following their exit, they launched the Club Sandwich podcast together before ending their romance in April this year.

However, the couple announced their split back in April – and Jordan recently said that he’s tired of being ‘blamed’ for the separation. On Sunday (September 7), Jordan, originally from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, made an unusual statement about the separation on his Instagram – though he remained tight-lipped about the specific circumstances, reports the Mirror.

Against a black backdrop, Jordan, who now lives in London, posted on his Instagram Story: “I am tired of being blamed for the breakup. I know what happened and I continue to know what’s happening. That’s all.”

The television personality, who practised law before finding fame on Big Brother, offered no further explanation. However, just hours earlier, he had expressed his current aversion to social media.

Posting over an image of artwork in British pub chain Wetherspoons, he confessed: “I can’t really be a***** with social media atm, but I must appreciate art in Wetherspoons.”

Shortly after the split, Henry took to his own social media to share a heartbreaking message with fans In a channel on his Instagram page, he said: “Hello, I just wanted to say a genuine thank you for all the kind, thoughtful messages today. I’m trying not to look at too much online as it makes me anxious.”

He continued in the post: “Truthfully, I’m heartbroken. This was my first relationship, and it’s incredibly painful to see it come to an end. Today has been one of the hardest days of my life, but I’m hopeful that things will get better with time.”

Henry added in the message: “I know there’s always going to be chatter when something like this happens – all I’ll say is that I loved deeply, stayed true to myself, gave it everything I could, and I’m hurting a lot right now. Thank you again for all the kindess. It means more than you know.”

This follows his earlier statement confirming the breakup with Jordan. As previously reported, Henry wrote: “After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. It’s incredibly sad, and we’re both hurting, but we know it’s the right step. We’re so grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us – thank you. Please give us some space as we figure things out privately.”

Jordan also revealed their separation on the platform, posting with the caption: “An unfortunate announcement.” In his statement, he penned: “After many times, memories, and precious experiences, Henry and I have parted ways. I want to thank everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers x.”
