A man has been charged with murdering a 29-year-old woman in South East London.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a residential address on Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, at 10.20pm on August 27, the Metropolitan Police said.

Halyna Hoisan – known as Lina – was pronounced dead at the scene and her family have been informed.

Scotland Yard said Yurii Muzyka, 33, of Burlington Road, New Malden, has been charged with murder and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

Detective Inspector Mark Franklin, who lead the investigation, said at the time: “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family, who at this unimaginably difficult time, are being supported by specialist officers.
