A woman was left stunned after purchasing a mystery bag from a sweet shop to see if it was worth the price.

Mystery bags from shops can be a big gamble. They may seem like a bargain at first, but as you have no control over their contents, you could end up wasting your money on items you don’t want or will never use. However, a mystery bag from a sweet shop might seem like a better proposition. But are these mystery bags truly worth their cost? This is what Becky Chorlton, known online as ‘beckysbazaar’, wanted to discover when she visited a Haribo store to buy one of their £9.95 mystery bags filled with treats.

“Is the Haribo £10 mystery bag a scam? Let’s buy it and find out,” she declared at the beginning of her Instagram video, which gave viewers a glimpse of her surprise as she peeked into her mystery bag for the first time.

She continued to explain, while entering the Haribo store, the goodies actually cost £9.95, and regardless of which bag you choose, you’re guaranteed to receive 1.2kg of sweets, along with a special surprise.

After paying for her bag and being given another bag of sweets as a free sample, she returned to her car and quickly delved into her haul to see what she had received and decide whether it was worth the cost.

“First up, I got these Haribo Nostalgix,” she announced, brandishing the full-sized bag of sweets. “I’ve never actually tried these before, but they look so good.”

Next, she revealed a classic Starmix bag and Tangfastics, which she was overjoyed with. She also unveiled a packet of Haribo ‘pencils’, also known as Balla stixx, which she described to be ‘unreal’.

“And I see these strawberries all the time, but I’ve never actually tried them, so I’m glad I got those,” she said, displaying a bag of Strawberry Softies.

However, the next item wasn’t as thrilling, as she confessed she wasn’t really a fan of the Haribo Cola Bottles. But the disappointment was short-lived, as she revealed two more different bags of sweets, before unveiling the special surprise she received.

“And the last thing in the bag was this Haribo mug, which is pretty cool,” she said, showing off the red mug adorned with printed love hearts.

In conclusion, Becky disclosed she ended up getting eight full-sized bags of sweets in total, as well as a mug and three mini bags of sweets – all for £9.95. However, she admitted she wasn’t sure if it was actually good value or not, as she wasn’t certain how much one bag of sweets costs.

However, several viewers soon reassured her as they expressed their astonishment over the selection of sweets in the comment section.

“The mugs so cute! So many sweets to! Definitely worth it xxx,” one person commented, while another user exclaimed: “Wow. That’s really good. Value and content.”

However, a different individual warned: “Just check they are in date love! ! I’ve seen out of date ones before.”
