A woman was left horrified when she was scrolling her Vinted feed, only to find that another woman was posting pictures of clothes – from her boyfriend’s bedroom
When one woman was scrolling through her feed on shopping app Vinted, she was mortified to spot pictures from her boyfriend’s bedroom.
Relationships should be built on trust, but one woman turned detective when she saw another woman selling a top with a very familiar room in the background. TikToker @depopdrama shared the shocking scenario, showing a screenshot of the messages the women had exchanged. “This girl found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her through Vinted”, he explained at the start of the clip.
The Vinted seller was thrifting an All Saints top for £30 when the scorned girlfriend spied her boyfriend’s bedroom and messaged her asking whether she knew him. The seller replied: “Yeh I do babe why x”. “Was this photo taken in his room”, the girlfriend fumed, and the seller responded: “Yeh it was cuz I left my stuff at his. Why do u ask? Do u know him? x”
Of course, his girlfriend more than knows him, so she furiously penned: “YES I know him, he’s MY boyfriend. Why was you even at his house?”, and the seller responded without giving a reason, explaining that she was “sorry”, and she didn’t realise he had a partner.
But the woman was left dumbfounded when the seller messaged her again, asking: “Are you interested in the top?xx”. She furiously responded: “No, I’m not f**king interested in the top.”
The man behind @depopdrama said that the situation was “absolutely wild”, and he had “no idea” how the woman figured out that was her boyfriend’s bedroom from one picture on Vinted.
“One thing I will say is never underestimate a girl when it comes to her investigation skills because this is genius the way she’s found out about this”, he said. He also joked that it might be the “wooden skirting” or the “lock on the wardrobe” that gave it away to the woman.
In the comments, one joked that she would’ve arranged “in-person delivery” to meet up with the woman her boyfriend was cheating on her with. Another said: “The cheek to ask if she still wanted the top”. Someone else related to the woman, explaining: “This takes me back to my previous relationship where I’d be studying the backgrounds of girls pics to see if it’s his room.”
