Australian TikTok user shares tattoo blunder in Bali

A woman who accidentally had the word ‘meow’ tattooed on the outside of her bottom lip looks unrecognisable two years on.

Swedish TikTok user Wilma Hägglund was left distraught in 2022 after requesting the ink on the inside of her lip – only for the procedure to go horribly wrong. Writing in her native language on TikTok, she captioned a video at the time: “He tattooed on the wrong place in my f****** mouth”. Wilma then showed her followers the intended design in the clip, which soon went viral amassing more than four million views – with a follow-up attracting a staggering 12 million further clicks.

Wilma’s traumatic second video began with a snap of her appearing all smiles and excited, perched in the tattoo artist’s chair ahead of her appointment – unaware of the horror that laid ahead. Soon, however, she was heard screaming and crying in her car after finding out what he had done to her lip, as she bellowed: “Oh my god.”

It prompted one pal to ask her: “Were you passed out during? How do you not feel the placement difference? Didn’t you have to hold your lip open??? HOW girl how??” Another person asked: “How could you not notice while he was doing it?” And a third said: “There’s just no way unless you were drunk or your tattoo artist.” Now however, two years on from having the tattoo removed, Wilma looks completely different.

Although her recent videos don’t rake in millions of views like the ones about her botched tattoo, Wilma still has 10,000 followers on TikTok. Videos show her happy and taking part in different viral trends with pals, and there’s no evidence on her lip of the mess that made her go viral in 2022.

In fact, Wilma has transformed her image to become a social media stunner, proudly showing off her long blonde tresses. The beauty’s make-up is always on point as she pouts for the camera to show she’s moved on her from her ordeal, summed up in her most recent clip, simply captioned “#slay”.
