Bambi, known on TikTok as bambidoesbeauty, has revealed her “ultimate hygiene hack” for combatting smelly pits is none other than a particular type of face wash. According to her, it’s so effective that deodorant becomes optional.
In her viral video, Bambi advises: “This is the hygiene hack for my sweaty girls who just want a non-stanky summer. Ultimate hygiene hack. Get a benzoyl peroxide face wash and use it under your arms like a mask. What it does is it kills the bacteria that cause your sweat to smell. It really works, like you’re not going to need to wear deodorant.”
Benzoyl peroxide face washes are typically used to treat acne and are priced around £10 at retailers like Boots. Bambi recommended applying the product once a week, allowing it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off.
However, she cautioned in her video caption that a “separate washcloth” should be used for removal, as the product has the tendency to “stain the life out of everything”. Additionally, Bambi professed that the same remedy could be applied for foot odours.
