There can be many different reasons why anyone would get a tattoo.

It might be to mark a special occasion, certain someone in your life, or just a huge fan of the needle gun, there’s countless reasons. Now the man known as the “world’s tattooed dad” recently opened up about his inkings in a post on Instagram.

Remy, who boasts 158,000 followers on social media, has splurged thousands on his iconic look. The Canadian, who once worked in the kitchen as a chef, has spent decades on transforming his appearance.

His journey began in 2001 when he got his first facial piercing before an inking of his son’s name in custom script around eight years later. While he has previously revealed he’s never had any “bad” or “hateful” comments online, he does often get the rogue character.

Now he revealed his savage reply to a troll who said “shame about the face” in one of his posts. Remy said: “Now just imagine that criticising someone’s face when you’re hiding behind a fake profile on TikTok, that’s got to be above the peak of irony I would say.

“You want to be a golden God, you want to be a f**king absolute 10 if you’re going to be talking s*** about the way another person looks on TikTok. You definitely don’t want to be a weird incel hiding behind a fake profile, that’s the one thing I do know.”

Remy often receives a lot of praise from followers who are inspired by his tattoo journey. In the comments section, one said: “There’s no such thing as perfect in this world but you are a perfect, example of a tattoo God Remy.”

Another gushed: “Dude I absolutely love your tattoos so much. It’s so cool seeing how you were able to tattoo such vibrant colours over your previous tattoos, amazing work.” And a third commented: “Dude is handsome. What are they taking about.”

But despite the hatred by that one troll online, Remy simply doesn’t care about the noise. In a previous interview, he said: “When I receive hate online I either ignore it or wish the hater/troll well, as I’m big enough to realise what’s upset them isn’t me.”

The dad loves inkings as he’s constantly under the needle with no signs of stopping anytime soon. He usually shares updates to his tattoos on social media, whether it’s Instagram or YouTube. And on his page, he calls himself the “real world’s most tattooed man”.
