Worrying video shows last sighting of missing girl, 6, wandering around Thamesmead estate alone

A worrying video of a missing girl wandering around a South East London estate alone has been released by police as they hunt for her. Eudine, aged 6, was reported missing from her home on the Thamesmead Estate at 10.40pm on Monday, July 29.

But at around midday on Monday, Eudine was captured on a CCTV camera in Defence Close in Thamesmead. The video, taken at around midday, shows the tiny girl standing on some grass and wandering up towards a building as a man walks past her, and then two cars pull out and drive off.

She pauses a couple of times, once to scare some pigeons, and then at a lamppost just before the path along the riverfront. Eudine has been described by police as between 3″6 and 4″ in height, and is thought to be wearing a light pink, long sleeved pyjama set. She also had with her a white shoulder bag with a daisy design.

The Metropolitan Police are asking local people to call them straight away with any information about where Eudine is. Thamesmead residents are also being urged to check inside sheds, locked areas, and gardens, and to look through their CCTV and doorbell footage for any possible sightings of her.

The Greenwich Metropolitan Police Service on X said: “We are extremely concerned for her welfare and officers are carrying out urgent enquiries to find her.”
