You’ll need to have the eyes of a hawk in order to spot the hummingbird hiding among the flowers in just 10 seconds, and many don’t have what it takes to solve the puzzle
If you’re looking to train your brain today, why not take on this tricky brainteaser that challenges you to find a hummingbird lurking among a sea of flowers? There’s one catch, though – you have just 10 seconds to do it.
Solving puzzles like this one can help you exercise your mind, which is just as important as exercising the rest of your body. Brainteasers and other puzzles can not only help improve your cognitive function, but they also work wonders when it comes to building your problem-solving skills and can even help slow the onset of degenerative diseases like dementia.
So if your brain is feeling sluggish, give this mind-boggling optical illusion a try!
Shared on Reddit, the brainteaser tasks you with finding a hummingbird amongst a sea of yellow flowers and green foliage. The flowers and leaves are quite vast, and hummingbirds are only small creatures, so you’ll need excellent vision if you want to cut through the unimportant parts of the picture to find the bird.
Take a look at the Reddit post below and see if you can find the hummingbird as quickly as possible. If you can do it in just 10 seconds, you might have super vision.

Locating the hummingbird isn’t easy, and 10 seconds isn’t very long, so don’t worry too much if time runs out before you’ve found it. You’ll still be training your brain to spot these hidden objects in record time no matter how long it takes you to find this one, so don’t give up until you’ve found it.
If you’re really struggling, we’ll give you a small hint.
Take a close look around the clusters of yellow flowers. The bird you’re looking for is situated just above one of these clusters, so you can stop looking at the bottom of the image or in any areas where there are gaps in the blooms.
Got it now? If you’re still looking, stop scrolling, as we’re about to give you the answer.
Answer
The hummingbird can be found on the right-hand side of the image, just above the halfway point.
Commenters on the post described it best when they said the bird was “about 2 o’clock from dead centre”. It sounds confusing, but if you start at the centre of the image and imagine a clock, the bird is in line with where the number 2 would be. You should be able to see a red and black object – that’s the hummingbird.
