A tricky brainteaser is challenging the nation to spot the mistakes in a golf image in less than five seconds – but only people of ‘genius level’ will be able to do so
Brainteasers are gaining popularity and the challenges are getting tougher.
A challenging image depicts a golf course with a lake in the background, as a man readies himself to hit the ball into the hole. The task is to spot the errors in the image within just five seconds, but the clues aren’t immediately apparent.
Only those of ‘genius level’ can spot the mistakes within the given time frame. To simplify the brainteaser, you could divide the picture into a grid and meticulously scan the image from left to right.

Then, some of the ‘mistakes’ start to appear, such as the golfer swinging an axe instead of a golf club and two sharks swimming in the lake behind him. More notably, there are two golf holes right next to each other, making the goal of a hole in one more challenging.
If you managed to spot the blunders in five seconds, give yourself a pat on the back. Puzzles like the one above are excellent for keeping the kids busy or staving off boredom during a long commute.
Studies also suggest that they can enhance your cognitive abilities, including concentration, attention, and even memory. They’re also linked to spikes in dopamine, meaning you might notice an improvement in your mood (especially if you get the answer right).
However, The Mirror previously reported about another brainteaser which isn’t for the average person, and only those with a high IQ will be able to solve it in less than the 15 seconds provided.

The solution to this fruity conundrum is located about halfway up the image, circled in red to ensure you spot it. It’s no easy task to spot the critter and if you managed to find it quietly nestled amongst the bananas, give yourself a pat on the back.
