Fire TV Stick users are getting more things to watch for free thanks to a major boost from the DAZN sports service.

If you haven’t got enough things to watch already there’s good news. The DAZN sports service, which already offers access to premium events and live action from across the globe, has just announced it’s launching 10 new channels and all will be available to view for free.

All of the bonus content will be shown via Fire TV Sticks which means owners of these gadgets will be able to view without paying a penny for the privilege. And that’s not all as DAZN’s extra channels will also be available on devices such as Samsung TVs, LG displays, Apple TV devices plus PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

It’s been confirmed that, at launch, UK homes will be able to watch the action from events including boxing, darts, motorsport and more with content shown 24 hours a day.

DAZN says the launch is in partnership with on-demand video team Amagi and marks a significant milestone in its commitment to providing more sports entertainment for fans to tune into.

Speaking about the new channels, Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said: “Through DAZN’s free tier, fans will be able to access a huge range of sport for free, including even more of the best combat sport. Leveraging DAZN’s worldwide reach and market-leading technology, these channels will unlock the best sports action in new ways.

“Our aim is to become the go-to sports destination platform for all fans worldwide which includes delivering the best proposition for every user. The addition of Matchroom Boxing and Boxing TV underscore DAZN as the Global Home of Boxing and Combat Sports and ensure we are creating more touchpoints with more sports fans than ever before.”

Sound enticing? Here are the channels coming via DAZN: Matchroom Boxing, Boxing TV, PDC Darts, Motorvision TV, Lacrosse TV, Padel TIME TV, SportStak, Moto America TV, Billiard TV, and ACL Cornhole TV.

The only thing you need to be aware of is that these are so-called FAST channels which basically means they are paid for via advertising – so you won’t get ad-free viewing and programmes will be interrupted by paid-for messages.

Also, if you want full access to DAZN you will need to pay extra. A full subscription costs £14.99 per month and includes access to the Saudi Pro League, MMA, Liv Golf action and more.

DAZN also features pay-per-view events with the service recently showing the big fight night between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
