Poland vs Netherlands at Euro 2024 will be of huge interest to Arsenal and their transfer plans
There is a big match going on at Euro 2024 today, with England getting their campaign under way against Serbia. But there may well be another match taking place in Germany that will pique Arsenal supporters’ interest.
Not only Arsenal supporters, perhaps, but Edu, Mikel Arteta and the Gunners’ scouts too. At 2pm the action gets under way once again as Poland take on the Netherlands in Hamburg.
And it is that match that may well be keenly watched by Arsenal scouts. Premier League clubs will no doubt bewatching all the action at Euro 2024 – and Copa America – with one eye on transfer targets.
But for Arsenal, the Netherlands clash is of particular interest. That is because there could be no less than SIX potential transfer targets playing their part in the Oranje’s first game of the tournament.
Edu and Arteta will be busy this summer, although much of their work will likely be done after Euro 2024 is finished now. Getting transfers over the line while a big international tournament is taking place can be tricky.
