Second German Shepherd attack

Another German Shepherd attack is the reason for Shenall Mustafa appearing at court today.

The 62-year-old from Enfield will be sentenced after admitting being an owner in charge of a dog dangerously out of control.

The court heard his dog Dino attacked a woman on Templeton Avenue in Chingford on February 16 2023.

Dino managed to escape from Mustafa’s car, despite being chained to the back seat, then ran across the road and approached the victim.

Teh victim tried to help it, but was bitten on the arm and Dino remained locked on until Mustafa appeared and ripped him off.

“She fell to the floor in pain,” Ms Gault told the court.

Mustafa’s defence counsel Mr Bruce said he won’t contest the destruction order as his client cannot afford the kennel costs which have already reached a whopping £8570.

The magistrates bench has now retired to make their decision.
