Arsenal have agreed a deal with Porto for defender Jakub Kiwior, football.london understands, with talks continuing with Bayer Leverkusen over a move for Piero Hincapie. The completion of Kiwior’s move will still hang on Arsenal securing the Ecuador international.
Kiwior, who joined the Gunners from Spezia in January 2023 for £20million, has never fully established himself under Mikel Arteta and his time at Emirates Stadium is now coming to an end. football.london understands Porto have agreed to pay Arsenal a fee which could rise to €27million (£23.4million), with personal terms already agreed.
The deal somewhat hinges on Hincapie making the move to Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen, with football.london being told that talks between the two clubs are progressing. If a deal were to be struck, the centre-back would become Arsenal’s eighth summer signing.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cristhian Mosquera, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, and Eberechi Eze have all already moved to Emirates Stadium.

Elsewhere, football.london understands that talks between Arsenal and Stuttgart are ongoing as the Gunners look to try bring in a fee for Fabio Vieira. Despite a previous gap in valuation between the two clubs, Andrea Berta is keen to try and secure a sale before the window slams shut at 7pm on Monday.
Vieira joined Arsenal for around £34million from Porto in 2022 but he failed to live up to expectations. After spending last season on loan at his former club, the Portuguese is expected to move on one way or another with Arteta not seeing the 25-year-old in his plans.
Albert Sambi Lokonga, Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr Zinchenko are also on Arsenal’s books and could be sold before Monday’s deadline. With the majority of incomings complete, the pressure is now on Berta to bring in some much needed funds.
