Arsenal will already be planning for next summer’s transfer window barely a week after this one ended.
The Gunners made eight signings over recent months while a dozen players departed during the same period. There are unlikely to be as many moves mid-season when the window re-opens this winter, but the club have previously done business during January, albeit not since 2023.

Debast decision
Arsenal are reportedly one of three Premier League clubs considering a possible move for Zeno Debast during the winter transfer window. CaughtOffside reports to have been informed by sources close to the agents industry that Manchester United have the centre-back under consideration.
football.london says: Arsenal signed Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie this summer, so signing a third in quick succession would seem strange, especially with the 21-year-old being said to have a €80million (£69million) release clause. Sporting CP could reputedly be open to negotiating a lower price, but the Gunners will be mindful after the lengthy Viktor Gyokeres saga.

Guler no-go
Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal were planning to pursue Arda Guler this summer before Andrea Berta became their new sporting director. In a new YouTube video, he indicates they considered the possibility last autumn (internally) if Real opened the door to an exit, which they ultimately did not, meaning any move was a non-starter.
football.london says: Arsenal have ultimately signed Eberechi Eze, the more proven player, albeit seven years older than Guler. Any transfer would inevitably have drawn comparisons to their move for Odegaard four years ago. The Gunners are a different team than they were back then, and thus took differing decisions.
