The Avenue in Hatch End is expected to reopen having been closed off since September 1
Several road closures are set to disrupt residents of Harrow this month while major utility and other works are carried out, with one road in Harrow Weald to remain shut to motorists until the end of November.
Clamp Hill in Harrow Weald will close on September 22 and remain shut throughout October and most of November whilst gas works take place. Nearby Honey Pot Lane will also be closed for a week early in the month as UK Power Networks maintenance is carried out.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has found all of the ongoing and planned road closures that are happening in October, according to one.network . Whilst some closures will only take place overnight, others will see roads shut for weeks or even months at a time.
The closures could cause traffic disruption for residents who may need to find an alternative route to get to their destination.
Major closures include that of the Meredith Close in Hatch End, which will remain closed for maintenance works by Thames Water until November 21, having been shut since early September. The Avenue, also in Hatch End, is expected to reopen on October 3 having been closed off since September 1 whilst water works took place.
Below is a breakdown of all the road closures both ongoing and planned that will be in force throughout October and beyond. Residents should look out for diversion routes to avoid facing substantial disruptions.

- Potter Street Hill (Hatch End): Road closed from October 27 to November 7 for water works
- The Avenue (Hatch End): Road closed from September 1 to October 3 for water works
- Clamp Hill (Harrow Weald): Road closed from September 22 to November 21 for gas works
- Elms Road (Harrow Weald): Road closed from October 1 to October 3 for unspecified road works
- Honey Pot Lane (Harrow Weald): Road closed from September 30 to October 7 for power network works
- Dudley Avenue (Kenton): Road closed from October 1 to October 3 for unspecified road works
- West Street (South Harrow): Road closed from October 28 to October 30 for telecoms works
- Victoria Terrace (South Harrow): Road closed from October 25 to October 30 for telecoms works
- Priory Way (North Harrow): Road closed from October 20 to October 23 for water works
- Alexandra Avenue (Rayners Lane): Road closed from September 30 to October 2 for water works
- Brookside Close (Rayners Lane): Road closed fromOctober 6 to October 17 for water works
- Alfriston Avenue (Rayners Lane): Road closed from October 6 to October 10 for gas works
- The Drive (Rayners Lane): Road closed from October 13 to October 18 for gas works
- Farm Avenue (Rayners Lane): Road closed from October 27 to October 31 for gas works
