Tough Lavia decision made, Chalobah replaced, Estevao starts – Predicted Chelsea XI vs Liverpool

Chelsea are looking for their first Premier League victory in over a month as champions Liverpool become the latest visitors to Stamford Bridge.

A win against Benfica in midweek should add some much-needed confidence to the Blues’ squad but their form in the league this season has been indifferent. Enzo Maresca’s side have just two victories to their name in the top-flight since the beginning of the campaign and are winless in their last three games.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are in a bit of a sticky patch themselves. Back-to-back defeats at Crystal Palace and Galatasaray means there is even more pressure on Arne Slot and his players to come away with three points this evening in SW6. Chelsea will feel like this is a good time to play Liverpool, but the Reds will have a similar feeling when it comes to the Blues, who are missing a host of key players due to injury.

All of the absent players Chelsea have makes Maresca’s line-up this evening that bit more intriguing. So, with that being said, Bobby Vincent does his best at trying to predict the XI we will see from a Chelsea perspective later on today.
