A Vodafone network outage has left huge swathes of people across London and the UK without access to the internet. Website Downdetector states some 46,000 people have reported issues with their WiFi or cell signal.
Most people are reportedly having issues with their broadband at home, but a proportion are still struggling to access their mobile data.
One disgruntled user wrote on X: “Hello Vodafone, what’s going on?! Another added: “Well done Vodafone, that’s broadband and mobile both down, and that effects talkmobile and voxi as well Had to use my roaming esim to come and check…”
A third person said: “This really is the straw that has finished me trusting Vodafone.” Reports of issues have come from across the UK including Glasgow, Birmingham and Cardiff.
According to Vodafone it has 18.3m mobile customers across the country, along with a further 1.4m households which use its broadband services.
It is unclear what is causing this issue, and Vodafone’s website is currently out of action. Follow our live updates below.
