Jack Oliver Frogell, 48, was attacked at Hemel Hempstead Town FC, in the early hours of October 25. He sadly died on Tuesday November 4.

Hertfordshire Police have said that Jack, who friends and family knew as ‘Olly’, was ‘assaulted during an altercation’ at the charity event and was rushed to hospital.

A man was arrested on October 26 in connection with the incident.

In a tribute to her husband, Olly’s wife Lisa said: “Our beloved Olly loved by so many, he was truly the most wonderful Dad and loving husband but also the heart of our community.

“This has left us with a huge void in our lives that can never be filled.”

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Inspector Caeva Taylor, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, added: “Our thoughts are with Olly’s family at this very difficult time.

“We are urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, to please come forward and help.

“We want to find out exactly what happened in the lead up to the assault.”
