Antoine Semenyo
Antoine Semenyo was absent from Bournemouth’s stalemate with West Ham previously after aggravating an ankle problem whilst on international duty with Ghana.
Prior to the Hammers fixture, Cherries manager Andoni Iraola explained: “Antoine is different. Justin [Kluivert] and Ben [Gannon-Doak] have muscle injuries and Antoine’s was not something new that happened when he was there (away with Ghana). He was already dealing with an ankle injury.”
Iraola is expected to provide a further update before Bournemouth’s journey to Sunderland.
Matheus Cunha
Matheus Cunha was ruled out of Manchester United’s loss to Everton on Monday night following a training ground injury.
Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim acknowledged earlier this week that the recovery timeline remains uncertain.
“It was a knock in training,” Amorim said. “I don’t know how long he is going to stay out. I think it’s nothing serious but we cannot risk players.”

Cole Palmer
Cole Palmer has suffered an injury-plagued season and hasn’t featured since September. The England star has been dealing with a groin problem, with his comeback further postponed after fracturing his toe when he stubbed it on a door at home last week.
However, according to The Guardian, the forward has returned to training with the Chelsea squad this week and the club are optimistic he will be available for Arsenal’s visit.
Viktor Gyokeres
Viktor Gyokeres hasn’t featured since being substituted at half-time when Arsenal defeated Burnley before the November international break.
The Sweden forward was absent from the Gunners’ Champions League fixture against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, though Mikel Arteta maintained the player was “very close” to making his comeback.
Speaking about both Gyokeres and the sidelined Kai Havertz, Arteta said: “Really good both of them. So in the next few days, again, I think they are going to have a repeat scan to see how everything is and whether we can push them – or not – for the weekend or the following game.
Gabriel
Arsenal appear likely to be without Gabriel Magalhaes for a third consecutive match after the key defender was withdrawn during Brazil’s recent friendly against Senegal.
Gabriel is dealing with an adductor problem, with recent reports indicating he could be sidelined until the New Year. Arteta, for his part, confirmed the centre-half would be unavailable for “weeks” before last weekend’s north London derby.
