Here is the Tottenham team we believe Ange Postecoglou will select for the visit to Sheffield United on the final day of the 2023/24 Premier League season

European qualification is once again up for grabs for Tottenham on the final day of the Premier League season. Clinching a place in the Europa Conference League away at Leicester City in 2021 and then Champions League football at Norwich City 12 months later, last year Spurs unfortunately missed out on Europe on the final day despite a big win at Leeds United.

Ending their season away from home as has been the case since 2020, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham side take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in Sunday’s 4pm kick-off. It is a match of importance to the football club as they just need to obtain one point in South Yorkshire to finish the season in fifth and secure the Europa League berth that comes with it.

Chelsea do have an outside chance of moving ahead of them on the final day as they are three points behind Tottenham going into their home match against Bournemouth. It would be a shock if the London rivals were to trade positions in the final table, though, as Spurs are coming up against the Premier League’s bottom club.

Postecoglou will be intent on returning to winning ways on Sunday after tasting defeat in midweek following a 2-0 home loss to Man City. The Lilywhites performed very well on the night but it was Erling Haaland’s second-half double that claimed three precious points for the visitors in their title quest.

So how exactly will Tottenham line up at Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon? You can find football.london’s predicted team below.
