Transport for London (TfL) has revealed which parts of the Underground network are going to be connected to phone networks next. As of May 14, customers can now use 4G at Paddington, Whitechapel, Canary Wharf and Woolwich on the Elizabeth line.
This means all stations along the purple route now have mobile coverage. In addition, those using the Victoria and Piccadilly line can now make use of 4G and 5G mobile coverage.
In total, around 25 per cent of Tube stations which are literally underground now have mobile coverage. Now, TfL committee documents have revealed which sections will be connected next.
