Regent Street is partially shut this morning (Thursday, June 13). Emergency water main repairs have been underway since yesterday evening. The repairs have caused massive disruption with diversions in place for several buses travelling along the northbound stretch.
The West End road is a major shopping street in Central London linking Picadilly Circus and Oxford Street. It is closed from Piccadilly Circus to Conduit Street.
With the road being closed northbound, many people’s journeys to work will be delayed or disrupted.
The buses on diversion are the 12, 88, 94, 139, 159 and 453.
