A manhunt is underway after an inmate escaped prison. Suspected burglar Graham Gomm, 63, who was imprisoned at Wormwood Scrubs, broke free after being taken to hospital.
Gomm was rushed to Hammersmith Hospital by prison staff yesterday (July 18) after being taken unwell. He had been on remand for burglary offences.
The alarm was raised at around 1.18am yesterday morning. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt and grey tracksuit.

Detectives are also concerned for Gomm’s welfare as he was undergoing medical care before his escape. He is not thought to be a threat to the public.
